Our vision is that every young person who needs a mentor, has a mentor. 
Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated in Melbourne for over 30 years. During this time, we have provided thousands of vulnerable young people, in need of additional support and friendship, with a caring mentor and positive role model. 
In late 2005, Big Brothers Big Sisters was established in Melbourne's Outer South East region for the purpose of delivering youth mentoring services to the City of Casey and beyond. Since then, Big Brothers Big Sisters has provided mentoring services to over 300 young people and has established a variety of one-on-one and group based mentoring programs. The Outer South East Office is located in Hallam and targets young people and volunteers who live in this region. Big Brothers Big Sisters continues to lead the field in youth mentoring, supported by over 100 years of international experience and expertise. Our name and logo are synonymous with quality program delivery and best practice worldwide. Big Brothers Big Sisters currently operates in 12 countries and across all states of Australia. The program is based on the simplicity
and the power of friendship. A caring - carefully screened - adult, sharing everyday experiences with a young person. It's so simple, but incredibly important.
